Good morning,
I'm studying the Needham's system for Odonata wings pattern.
There is something that is unclear for me at this point about the Cordulegaster genus' veins.
There is that distinctive vein (in sky blue on my graphic) that runs to the hind border of the wing
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd24/RenaudB_photobucket/CordulegasterboltoniiAa09bis.jpg
It is starting from the
Bridge vein (in brown). Is it still considered as the Supplementary Radial Vein (Rspl) althou it doesn't start from the
Radial vein (in Red) like it is on other genus (to my knowledge)?
Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas!
